Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Closenture (“we”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website and the Closenture app at app.closenture.com.

Two kinds of data, two roles

Account data about the contractors who use Closenture: names, work emails, phone numbers, company details, sign-in records and billing. For this data we decide how it is used.
Customer data that contractors put into Closenture about their own customers and leads: names, phone numbers, email and street addresses, appointments, notes, photos, contracts, signatures, invoices and payments. We process this data only for the contractor and on their instructions. If you are a homeowner, the contractor you dealt with decides how your data is used; contact them first.

What we collect

What you give us: account details, the data you enter or import, demo requests from this website.
What the app records as it is used: sign-ins, actions on records, the device and browser used, and IP addresses, for security and support.
From homeowners, through the contractor’s pages: confirmations of appointments and, when signing a contract, the name typed, the drawn signature, consent to sign electronically, the time and the IP address.
From a contractor’s website, when they install the Closenture code: the form a visitor sends and the ad click that brought them (for example UTM tags and Google or Facebook click IDs), kept in the visitor’s browser for up to 90 days.

How we use it

To run Closenture: store records, send the emails the contractor sets up (appointment, contract and invoice emails), and show reports.
To keep it secure, to fix problems and to answer support requests.
To bill contractors and contact them about their account.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use customer data to market to homeowners.

Who processes it for us

We use these service providers, each only for the purpose listed:

Railway: hosting the app and its database.
Cloudflare: hosting this website, DNS and email forwarding.
Resend: sending email.
Google and Meta: only when a contractor connects a calendar or ad account, to read ad spend and keep calendars in sync. Data from Google APIs is used only to provide those features, as Google’s Limited Use rules require.
Anthropic: only when a contractor uses Ask AI or the AI review. It receives totals per group and the names of the contractor’s lead sources, campaigns, services and team members, never homeowners’ names or contact details. Anthropic does not use data sent through its commercial API to train its models.

How long we keep it

We keep account and customer data while the account is active. After a company cancels and asks us to delete its data, we delete it from the app within 30 days; daily backups roll off within 14 days after that. Signed contracts are the contractor’s records; they should download what they need to keep before asking for deletion.

Your choices and rights

Contractors can see, correct and export their data in the app at any time, and ask us to delete their account by writing to hello@closenture.com.
Homeowners can ask the contractor to see, correct or delete their data. You can also write to us; we will pass the request to the contractor and help them answer it.
Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to know, correct, delete and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it for advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Cookies and tracking on this website

This website sets no advertising cookies. If analytics is turned on, it loads only after you interact with the page and measures visits in aggregate.

Security

See our security page for how data is protected. If we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell the affected contractors without undue delay.

Children

Closenture is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account owners by email before the change takes effect.
